| | Hello there. Your workflows just learned to leave notes for your team, and AI Studio apps can now talk back to visitors with a real HighLevel chat widget. Add a Jira connection, automatic taxes on mobile invoices and a consent question every missed-call text back user should read, and Thursday is surprisingly busy. In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into: - A new Add Internal Comment workflow action posts private notes to a conversation and can @mention the teammate who should act next.
- Ask AI Studio to "add a live chat" and it builds a native HighLevel chat widget styled to your app, with analytics and spam protection included.
- Workflows can now trigger on new or updated Jira issues and create issues, add watchers or post comments back into Jira.

| | 📝 Workflows can now leave internal notes for your team. HighLevel added an Add Internal Comment workflow action that posts a private comment to the conversation whenever a workflow runs. You can @mention a teammate, so a high-priority lead can arrive with next-step instructions already pinned in the thread. Nothing is sent to the customer. Find it under Automation, Workflows, add the Internal Comment action, then save and publish. 💬 AI Studio apps get native live chat on request. Ask AI Studio to "add a live chat" and it now builds a real HighLevel chat widget into your app, styled with your site's colors and fonts. Choose Live Chat or Email Chat, and every message lands in Conversations. Business hours, spam protection, consent notices and file sharing follow your widget settings, and a new Chat Widgets analytics view lists every lead and the page it came from. 🧾 Mobile invoices can now work out sales tax automatically. A new HighLevel tutorial shows how to switch on automatic taxes for mobile invoices, estimates and POS sales. You turn it on in web settings, pick tax categories and nexus locations such as US states or Canada, and assign product tax codes. Then enable it in the mobile app, and invoices apply the right state tax, with prompts to fix invalid customer addresses or missing postal codes. | |

| | 🐞 Jira now plugs straight into HighLevel workflows. If you track bugs or client requests in Jira, a two-minute video shows how to connect Jira to HighLevel workflows. You sign in with your Atlassian account, pick a cloud site and project, and trigger workflows when an issue is created or updated. Actions can find, create or update issues, add watchers and post comments, which keeps dev work and client records in sync. 🛒 AI Studio checkout now protects its own payment code. A follow-up to last week's AI Studio payments launch: HighLevel says apps can sell your catalog products through a hosted checkout where card details are handled by the platform. The payment code is managed for you, so if you or the AI agent edits it by accident, it is restored automatically. PayPal, coupons, subscriptions and bot protection come built in. 🧱 150,000 lines of AI code, 17,000 worth keeping. A builder on Reddit shares an expensive lesson for anyone making client apps with AI Studio, Lovable or Claude Code. They let Claude Code run from Saturday morning to Sunday night on a mockup and produced about 150,000 lines. Their senior developer and architect kept roughly 17,000 of them. Worth a read before you promise a client a full app built in a weekend. | |

| | 📞 An agency wants someone else to call its home reno leads. A small Canadian agency running Facebook and Instagram ads for kitchen and bathroom renovation companies in Ontario is looking for an appointment setting partner. Homeowners request quotes, and someone has to call them quickly and book the in-home visit. If you offer call handling or setting on top of HighLevel, this is a live lead, and a reminder of how much speed to lead matters. 💸 Is $300 to $500 a month on Meta ads enough to land clients? A newer agency owner plans to spend $300 to $500 a month on Meta ads to win clients and wonders whether two months is long enough to see results. They also want to study high-converting examples and ask whether the Meta Ads Library is the right place to look. Useful if you coach new agencies on realistic starting ad budgets. | |

| | ⚖️ Does missed call text back need consent first? One user points out that an automatic missed call text back appears to require some form of consent, which seems to defeat the point of texting back instantly. They are asking how others get consent, or whether people simply send it anyway. If you run this for clients, it is a fair moment to check your opt-in wording and carrier rules. ✉️ Got opinions on the email builder? Someone is listening. A Reddit post is collecting feedback on the Emails page and email builder: current pain points, anything hard to use or not useful, features you would love added and general improvements. If something in the email builder slows you down every week, this is a low-effort place to say so and maybe see it fixed. | |
