| | Hello there. One change today comes with a deadline: Meta is moving all WhatsApp marketing sends to a new API, and HighLevel wants sub-accounts switched over well before then. Plus two short how-to videos on images in forms and company merge fields, and two honest questions from agencies about SMS consent and WhatsApp for clients. In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into: - WhatsApp marketing messages stop going out through the Cloud API on October 13, 2027, so HighLevel asks you to switch each sub-account to MM Lite.
- The Media Picker now lets you drop images from Media Storage straight into forms, surveys and QR codes, with size, alt text and a click link.
- Company fields work as custom values in emails, workflows, contracts and Conversation AI, pulled from the company linked to each contact.

| | 📲 Move your WhatsApp marketing to MM Lite before October 2027. Meta will stop delivering marketing messages through the Cloud API on October 13, 2027, so HighLevel wants every sub-account to switch WhatsApp marketing to MM Lite. Service and utility messages are not affected, and numbers, templates and campaigns keep working with no re-approval. MM Lite adds engagement-based delivery, GIF headers, app deep links and cost and conversion tracking. Turn it on under Settings, WhatsApp, Enable MM Lite, starting with your busiest sub-accounts. 🖼️ Put images in forms, surveys and QR codes with the Media Picker. A new HighLevel tutorial shows how to insert images from Media Storage into forms, surveys and QR codes through the rich text editor. You can set the image width, height, alt text and a link it opens when clicked, and pull files from Google Drive as well. The video also explains how Media Storage, the picker and files that contacts upload differ, which helps when a client asks where their images live. | |

| | 🏢 Use company details as merge fields across HighLevel. Another short tutorial covers using standard and custom company fields as custom values. Once a contact is linked to a company, those details fill in automatically in emails, workflows, contracts and Conversation AI replies. The video also shows what happens when the company data is missing, so send yourself a test email before you rely on these tags in a client's agreement or follow-up sequence. 📅 A builder shares a simple lead-to-booking flow. A HighLevel user posted the lead-to-booking workflow they are building for service businesses, focused on what happens right after someone fills in a lead form. In their setup the form submission creates or updates the contact and adds an opportunity to the pipeline, so nobody has to move the lead by hand. It is a useful starting template if your own funnels still rely on manual follow-up. | |

| | ⚖️ How strict is the SMS opt-in checkbox rule? One user says they cannot get a clear picture of SMS consent. HighLevel and other policies say a contact must opt in through a form checkbox that is unchecked by default and not required, yet they see other businesses seemingly skip that step. If you run text campaigns for clients, it is a good moment to check that every form feeding your SMS workflows has that checkbox set up correctly. 💬 Is a white-labeled WhatsApp inbox worth adding? An agency that resells HighLevel to about 20 local businesses says many clients in Spain and Latin America keep asking for WhatsApp instead of SMS, because that is what their customers use. The owner wants to know whether a white-labeled WhatsApp inbox and automation tool is worth offering. With today's MM Lite change in mind, it is a fair question for any agency with clients outside the US. | |
