THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. Voice AI agents can now filter out barking dogs and say "got it" like a real receptionist, and AI Studio projects can live in your own GitHub repo. Also today: WordPress hosting from setup to analytics, revenue traced back to the ad that earned it, and three questions builders are wrestling with.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • Voice AI agents gained noise cancellation and backchanneling, so callers hear short affirmations and background voices get filtered out.
  • AI Studio can now connect to GitHub, pushing every saved version to a private repo and building a fresh preview from outside commits.
  • Attribution Reports can trace closed revenue back to the exact ad campaign, with a switch between first touch and last touch.

NEW FEATURES

🔇 Voice AI learns to listen like a person. Two new options under Advanced Settings for AI agents make calls sound less robotic. Backchanneling lets the agent drop in short affirmations like "got it" or "uh-huh" while the caller talks, with control over how often, and noise cancellation can strip out caller background noise or other voices in the room. A short video shows how to switch on noise cancellation and backchanneling and test it on a live call.

🐙 AI Studio now syncs with GitHub. HighLevel says you can now connect GitHub to AI Studio by linking a personal account or an organization. AI Studio then creates a private repo for the project, pushes every version you save to it, and turns any commit made outside AI Studio into a fresh preview build. If a developer on your team prefers working in their own editor, this keeps both sides in step.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

📞 Day 2 replay: selling AI receptionist services. The second day of the workshop with Jason Wardrop and Paulson Thomas is now up as a replay on building and pricing a Voice AI receptionist offer. It walks through five Voice AI services agencies can sell today, pricing models for the offer, and how to onboard clients and connect the agent to their workflows. Pitched as a hands-on build, it fits well with today's new voice settings.

📈 See which ad campaign actually closed the deal. A two-minute tutorial shows how Attribution Reports trace closed revenue to specific campaigns. Under Reporting you can flip between first touch and last touch models, see won opportunities and total leads, break results down by source, channel and medium, and compare several pipelines side by side. Handy when a client asks whether Google or Facebook ads are really paying for themselves.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

🌐 WordPress hosting inside HighLevel, start to finish. An eight-minute walkthrough covers how to activate and run WordPress hosting in a sub-account. It compares moving an existing site with the LC Migrator plugin against help from a migration specialist, then shows new sites from templates, HTML uploads or AI pages, custom domains with DNS and SSL, activity logs, user roles, traffic and speed reports, plugins, themes and backups.

OPEN QUESTIONS

🔁 Why does a workflow fire two, three or four times? After a member saw a send document workflow go out four times in a row, one builder posted six common causes of duplicate workflow runs and how to fix each one. The first step is to open the workflow's Enrollment History and execution logs before changing anything. If your clients ever get the same message twice, the checklist is worth saving.

🗓️ How do you keep booking requests apart from real appointments? A builder working on a clinic setup asks how to separate appointment requests from confirmed bookings. The AI captures a caller's preferred time, like Tuesday morning, but staff still confirm the slot, and reception needs to know what was actually agreed. If you use tags, pipeline stages or a separate calendar for this, the thread could use your approach.

🧳 Moving a running business into HighLevel is the hard part. One member points out that migrating an existing business into HighLevel is a different job from setting up a new one, with existing contacts, calendars and old automations nobody remembers building. They wonder how teams handle running both systems side by side. Agencies that have a migration checklist have a good chance to share it.
