THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. Bookings your team creates by hand can now carry the same intake form as online ones, and moving clients off HubSpot just got tidier. Also today: a rebuilt WhatsApp template builder, after-hours rules for Conversation AI, Smart Lists turned into Meta audiences and two questions every growing agency hits.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • Service and rental bookings created inside the app can now have a booking form attached, with contact details prefilled.
  • The HubSpot importer can filter contacts, deals, companies and tasks by created or last modified date before anything comes over.
  • The WhatsApp template builder now fits on one layout with a live phone preview and AI that drafts the template for you.

NEW FEATURES

📝 Manual bookings can now carry the booking form. When you create a service or rental booking from the appointment modal, a new Booking form section lets you attach and fill in the form for the customer. Your configured form is preselected, name, email and phone come prefilled from the contact, and CAPTCHA and payment elements stay hidden. For now the form can only be added while creating the booking, not later.

🧹 Bring over only the HubSpot records you need. The HubSpot importer's preview step now lets you filter records before the import starts. Contacts, deals, companies and tasks can each be filtered by HubSpot created date or last modified date, using ranges like the last 6 months or exact dates, combined with AND or OR. Record counts update right away, so you know how much is coming before you confirm.

💬 The WhatsApp template builder got a full refresh. HighLevel says category, body, media, buttons and variables now sit on one layout with a live phone preview that updates as you type. You can also describe the use case, pick a tone and let AI fill in the template. It lives under Settings, then WhatsApp, which helps anyone who has fought the old builder to get a template approved.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

🎯 Turn Smart Lists into Meta ad audiences. A four-minute tutorial shows how to sync CRM Smart Lists with the Ad Manager to build Meta custom audiences. After connecting the Meta ad account, a Smart List becomes an audience that can update automatically as contacts change, and you can build lookalike audiences with your own location and similarity settings. One example used is targeting people who engaged with email in the last 30 days.

💉 What a med spa agency learned from AI setters. The founder of CloseBot, an AI appointment-setting tool, shares an interview with a med spa marketing agency owner in Phoenix who runs 43 clinic clients and tested AI setters for three to four months on more than 800 leads a week. The author discloses the tie up front and says the lessons apply whatever tool you use, so read it as a vendor story with useful field notes.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

🌙 Give Conversation AI agents working hours. A six-minute video walks through setting active hours for Conversation AI agents per channel, with a choice between the business time zone and the contact's time zone. It covers lunch-break and after-hours schedules, whether ongoing chats continue past closing, automatic off-hours replies, team notifications and follow-ups that go out when business hours resume.

OPEN QUESTIONS

🔐 Who still has admin access across your sub-accounts? An agency owner asks how to track user access across many sub-accounts, including how to be sure someone who leaves loses access everywhere. One reply points to managing users at the agency level under Team Management, where making a user inactive removes access across every location, and to the audit logs for spotting permission changes, since there are no native alerts for them.

🛟 How much support comes with reselling HighLevel? A member notes there is plenty of talk about moving clients onto a white label account, but little about the support load after clients are onboarded. A calendar stops syncing, someone edits a workflow by mistake or a client cannot find a setting, and each small issue adds up. If you price support into your SaaS plans, the thread could use your numbers.
