THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. A quiet Sunday for releases, but two of the new pieces land right inside Workflows: your social posts can now start automations, and workflows can leave private notes for your team. Also today: a fresh batch of templates, an honest look at email deliverability and a member at the end of his rope with A2P.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • A new Social Planner Posts trigger starts a workflow when a post is submitted, approved, rejected, scheduled, published or fails.
  • The new Add Internal Comment action lets a workflow drop a private note, instructions or a teammate mention into the conversation history.
  • HighLevel published 52 WhatsApp message templates in English and Spanish across 26 industries, plus new funnel, social and ad templates.

NEW FEATURES

📲 Your social posts can now start a workflow. Workflows has a new Social Planner Posts trigger that fires when a post is sent for approval, approved, rejected, scheduled, published or fails to publish. You can narrow it by category, platform, post type, social account and tags, which helps agencies running many client brands. One catch from the Social Planner trigger release notes: only accounts connected through Social Planner work so far, not those connected through Integrations.

🗒️ Workflows can now leave private notes in a conversation. The new Add Internal Comment action posts a comment into the conversation history whenever a workflow runs. Use it to pass along context, leave instructions for whoever picks up the lead or mention a teammate, and the note stays visible only to your team. HighLevel announced the Add Internal Comment action on Saturday.

🧰 A big batch of new templates is in the library. The latest drop includes 52 WhatsApp message templates, two each in English and Spanish for 26 industries from HVAC and chiropractors to coffee shops and credit repair. It also adds a financial funnel, a marketing agency survey, eight social templates, Facebook, Google and LinkedIn ad templates and a gym snapshot. See the full template list before you build the next client account from scratch.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

🤖 Who has built an AI agent that reads WhatsApp chats? A member runs a Conversation AI bot that answers WhatsApp questions and qualifies leads before handing them to sales. Now he wants an internal assistant he can chat with to analyze those conversations, and he is weighing MCP, managed agents and the API. If you have built something similar, share what worked in the thread.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

📧 Connecting your sending domain is only the first step. A member who sees a lot of confusion about email in HighLevel says DMARC, DKIM and SPF are the bare minimum, and that whoever runs your account usually sets up that first layer for you. His post walks through what still decides whether your emails reach the inbox, so read the email deliverability post before blaming the platform for poor open rates.

🎥 Jarryd Holmes on growing fast with funnels and Voice AI. HighLevel streamed a session with Jarryd Holmes on Saturday about growing quickly by pairing funnels with Voice AI inside HighLevel. If you missed it live, watch the Jarryd Holmes replay on HighLevel's YouTube channel.

OPEN QUESTIONS

📵 Three weeks and still no A2P approval for a plumber. One member has spent three weeks trying to get a plumbing client's campaign approved, with each attempt rejected over details in the opt-in language. He adds that carrier filtering is making plain SMS close to useless for some of his clients. If you have found opt-in wording that passes, help him in the A2P thread.

⚖️ HighLevel or ClickFunnels for client builds? A new thread argues the choice between HighLevel and ClickFunnels for client work should come down to who will run the system after you deliver it. Join the HighLevel or ClickFunnels debate if you hand builds over to clients.
