THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. Monday's LevelUp release wave was mostly about WhatsApp. Forms now open inside the chat, WhatsApp calls can be recorded and transcribed, and carousels, a template library and 13 booking languages round it out. WordPress hosting also picks up antivirus and a new site menu, and blogs finally get comments.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • You can now send any existing HighLevel form as a WhatsApp Flow, so leads answer inside the chat and the answers land in Forms, Submissions on the right contact.
  • WhatsApp calls can be recorded and transcribed, with a spoken consent announcement first and the audio and transcript saved in Conversations.
  • Every WordPress site gets Antivirus with scans, one-click fixes and ten hardening switches, plus a new site menu and a sites table with threats and uptime.

NEW FEATURES

📝 Your forms now open inside WhatsApp. Instead of sending a link out of the chat, you can send any form you already built as a WhatsApp Flow, and the lead fills it in without switching apps. Fields WhatsApp cannot render are dropped at build time, answers are mapped to the right contact under Forms, Submissions, and later form edits do not change a published flow. Setup is under Settings, WhatsApp, Flows, per the Forms via WhatsApp Flows notes.

🎙️ WhatsApp calls can be recorded and transcribed. Turn recording on once for a number and every WhatsApp call on it is saved in Conversations as playable audio next to the messages, with a transcript that separates your team from the customer. Callers hear a short consent announcement before recording starts, and you pick its language and the reason they hear. The call recording release says the call language is detected automatically for the transcript.

🎠 Carousel templates put up to ten offers in one message. A new Carousel type for marketing templates lets you attach 2 to 10 swipeable cards, each with its own image or video and up to two buttons. WhatsApp bills it as one marketing message, and a quick reply tap can fire a webhook into a workflow. Plan ahead: the card count is locked at Meta approval and every card must share the same layout, as the carousel template notes explain.

📚 A library of 52 ready-made WhatsApp templates. Under Settings, Communications, WhatsApp, Templates you can now browse 32 marketing and 20 utility templates written for industries such as home services, legal, beauty and insurance. They come in six languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, and you can edit every part before submitting it to Meta. The template library release adds search, filters and favourites.

🌍 WhatsApp booking flows now speak 13 languages. Appointment booking flows can be set to one of 13 languages, including German, Spanish, Dutch, the Nordic languages and regional French and Portuguese, and the whole flow follows, from the timezone picker to the confirm button. Form flows simply render in whatever language you write them in. A language column in the flows list shows your coverage, according to the WhatsApp Flows language notes.

🛡️ Every WordPress site gets Antivirus. HighLevel WordPress hosting now scans each site for harmful files and common gaps, explains what it found and offers Apply fix or Apply all fixes, with a prompt to back up first. A Hardening tab has ten one-click protections such as disabling XML-RPC and rate-limiting logins. A new site menu and a sites table with threats, updates and uptime arrived alongside it, per the Antivirus release notes.

💭 Blog posts can now collect comments. Add the new Comments element to your blog post page once and every post on that blog site gets threaded comments, reactions and image uploads, with readers signing in by email code. Your team's replies carry a Moderator badge, and a Comments tab handles approval, replies and email notifications. The blog comments notes say comments do not yet reach Conversations or create contacts.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

📬 Two emails and a check-in text is not a follow-up plan. A builder who fixes coach and consultant accounts says most setups pour weeks into the funnel and then run a tiny follow-up that goes cold in about four days. His advice: mix SMS in with email, keep going for two to three weeks because higher-ticket leads take longer to decide, and ask a real question instead of just checking in. He wants to hear the laziest sequences you have inherited.

🎓 Is the Certified Directory worth $97 a month? A member is weighing Certified Admin mainly for the directory listing and the certified-only jobs board, and wants to know whether it pays for itself or is just a badge. He is also asking whether anyone has hired from the directory, to see it from the buyer side. If you are listed or have hired that way, share how it worked out.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

🔀 Check workflows before you merge duplicate contacts. A merge cannot be undone, so one member checks which record will be kept and compares conversation history, contact details and open opportunities first. The open question is active workflows: they can carry over to the main contact, but nobody in the thread is sure yet what happens when both records sit in the same automation. If you have seen it, add what you check first.

COMING UP

📅 Two industry events later this week. The HighLevel events page lists Win The Storm 2026 on Oct 28 and the Canadian Appliance Service Conference on Oct 30. If either fits your client base, check the HighLevel events page for the details.
