THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. Tuesday brings a sharper Lead Source Report that finally shows the money behind every status, and GPT-6.1 Sol is now a pick in Conversation AI. HighLevel also posted walkthroughs for outbound Voice AI and Google Sheets in the Knowledge Base, while Reddit has a warning for anyone whose voice agents ran on SimpleTalk AI.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • The Lead Source Report now shows value for Open, Won, Lost and Abandoned, lets you click any count to see the opportunities behind it, and surfaces leads with no source as N/A.
  • GPT-6.1 Sol is live in Conversation AI, and new HighLevel tutorials cover the Flexible Outbound Calling Framework for Voice AI and syncing Google Sheets into the Knowledge Base.
  • A Reddit user says SimpleTalk AI shut down around Sep 25, so agencies running its voice agents should save prompts, webhooks and numbers now, and LevelUp 2026 VIP tickets are nearly gone.

NEW FEATURES

📊 The Lead Source Report now shows what every channel is worth. HighLevel's latest update adds drill-downs and value by status to the Lead Source Report. Click any count under Total, Open, Won, Lost or Abandoned to open the exact opportunities behind it, and each status now carries its dollar value. Opportunities with no source show up as N/A, and the Source filter accepts Is empty, so you can clean up attribution before the next client report.

🤖 GPT-6.1 Sol is live in Conversation AI. HighLevel says GPT-6.1 Sol is now available in Conversation AI, promising better accuracy, faster responses and lower costs for your AI agents. Switching is a single step: pick GPT-6.1 Sol from the model dropdown on the agent. Test it on one sub-account first and compare a few real conversations before you roll it out across clients.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

📞 A walkthrough of the Flexible Outbound Calling Framework for Voice AI. A new HighLevel tutorial shows how outbound Voice AI calling works when consent and compliance are managed through your own CRM and lead sources. It covers turning on outbound Voice AI, updating disclosure language across sub-account products, building outbound call workflows in Automations, a launch checklist, and reading the call logs and reports afterwards. Watch it before you point an agent at a cold list.

📑 Connect Google Sheets to the AI Knowledge Base. Another short guide walks through syncing a Google Sheet into the Knowledge Base. You connect Google Drive in sub-account settings or inside AI Agents, import the spreadsheet as a knowledge table, map each column to the right data type, then test retrieval. The sheet stays in sync, so price lists or stock levels your agents quote can be updated without rebuilding the agent.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

📍 Merchynt on stacking local marketing onto a HighLevel offer. In a new post on the HighLevel blog, Merchynt's Justin Silverman explains how agencies add local marketing as a premium service on top of HighLevel. He covers packaging, pricing and typical resale margins, and using AI so one person can deliver for hundreds of clients. His argument is simple: HighLevel gets you in the door, and the add-on grows the account. Merchynt exhibits at LevelUp 2026.

OPEN QUESTIONS

⚠️ Did your SimpleTalk AI voice agent stop working? A Reddit user says SimpleTalk AI shut down around Sep 25, with the site down and staff emails bouncing. Their advice: while the dashboard still loads, copy your agent prompts, mid-call actions and webhook URLs, find out who owns your phone number, and check your HighLevel wallet and workflows, since premium actions failed once the provider's wallet ran dry. Anyone else affected is sharing notes in the thread.

COMING UP

🎟️ LevelUp 2026 VIP tickets are almost gone. HighLevel says only a few LevelUp 2026 VIP tickets are left and calls it a last call. If you planned to go VIP, decide this week. Separately, HighLevel's events page also lists MIB WE Believe for today, Oct 6, one of the industry events on its schedule this week.
