THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Hello there. Thursday brings two handy builder upgrades: the Social Planner API can now publish community posts, and Ask AI will draft a whole client funnel from a single message. Below that, a stack of short how-tos on WhatsApp rental alerts, Google lead forms and photo-backed review requests, plus a Reddit debate on snapshots that do too much.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • HighLevel's Social Planner public API now schedules and publishes community posts, including posts on behalf of members after an eligibility check.
  • Ask AI can now turn one message about a client's business and goal into a short plan, then have Funnel AI build the funnel live for you to fine-tune.
  • New tutorials cover WhatsApp alerts for rental bookings, Google lead form syncing, conditional opportunity fields and photos in review requests.

NEW FEATURES

💬 The Social Planner API now posts to communities. HighLevel says community posting is now supported through the Social Planner public API. You can schedule and publish community posts, automate announcements, post on behalf of community members and check that a member is eligible first, all without opening the app. If you run client communities or a membership offer, this is the piece that lets your own tools or workflows keep those spaces active on a schedule.

🪄 Ask AI builds a client funnel from one message. HighLevel showed how to spin up a client funnel from a single message in Ask AI. You share the business type and the goal, Ask AI replies with a short plan to approve, and Funnel AI then builds the page live. The result is ready to publish on the client's domain with tracking and workflows working as usual, and you can still fine-tune anything in the funnel builder.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

🎯 Google lead forms can feed straight into your CRM. A new walkthrough shows how to connect Google lead forms to HighLevel so form submissions land in the CRM automatically. You link the Google Ads account under integrations, map fields like name, email and phone, send test data, then use the Google Lead Form Submitted trigger to fire an instant text and email. For clients running lead form ads, that closes the gap between the click and the first reply.

🖼️ Before-and-after photos can ride along with review requests. Another tutorial covers attaching images to review requests sent by email and SMS from the Reputation section. The help doc allows up to five photos per request, JPEG or PNG, and the images also show up in the contact's Conversations thread. WhatsApp review requests and the mobile app do not support attachments yet. For trades and home service clients, a photo of the finished job is an easy nudge to leave a review.

💵 Day 2 of the $97 product launch workshop is up. HighLevel posted the second day of its workshop with Chris Koerner on launching a $97 digital product inside HighLevel. The session covers turning what you know into a small paid product, a short-form video routine for building an audience, and the launch build itself: landing page, email sequences, payment flow and delivery automation. Attendees are promised the full snapshot, plus A/B test numbers from a launch that brought in more than $40,000.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

📲 Rental bookings can now trigger WhatsApp alerts. If you sell into rental businesses, a new video shows how to switch on WhatsApp notifications for rental bookings. Under the rental calendar's notification settings you can enable WhatsApp across all six booking notification types, set separate templates for the customer and for the business team, pull in your approved templates with Fetch WhatsApp Templates, and send a test message before anything goes live.

🧩 Opportunity fields can now appear only when they matter. A walkthrough explains conditional custom fields for opportunities. Rules can show a field or a whole folder, or make a field mandatory, based on pipeline, stage, status or dropdown, radio, checkbox and multi-select answers. Think onboarding fields that appear only once a deal is Won. The help doc says to switch it on under Settings, Labs, then build rules from the Conditional Rules tab in Custom Fields.

🧱 Are most HighLevel snapshots overbuilt? A builder who has made HighLevel snapshots for a few years argues on Reddit that most snapshots try to do too much. Early on they assumed a better snapshot meant more workflows, more conditions and more clever automation. They have since changed their mind about how much of that actually helps the client. Worth a read before your next build, especially if handovers keep stalling on complexity.

OPEN QUESTIONS

⏰ Who handles recurring appointment reminders natively? A user testing reminder notifications asks how others handle recurring appointments without extra tools. They found time zones and recurring bookings did not behave as expected, starting with wait steps that are based on a date and time stored in a custom field. If you have a working setup for reminders on repeating sessions, the thread is looking for real examples.
