THE DAILY LEVEL - The daily GoHighLevel brief for agencies

Happy Saturday. Ask AI finally talks back on your phone, Calendar AI starts explaining why that 5 PM slot is blocked, and agencies are quietly deleting the word AI from their offers. Grab a coffee - the weekend still has product news.

In today’s newsletter, we’ll get into:

  • Ask AI Voice lands on mobile with interruptible two-way talk, plus Managed Agents get a Public API.
  • Calendar AI troubleshoots unbookable slots in plain English, and mobile staff can generate reschedule links on the go.
  • Agencies debate dropping AI from their pitch, sharing one pipeline across callers, and whether HighLevel can run a full course business.

NEW FEATURES

🎙️ Ask AI Voice finally works on your phone. Mobile Ask AI is no longer a typing-only chore. Tap the mic, speak, and the assistant answers out loud while it keeps listening, so you can interrupt mid-sentence the way you would a real coworker. Transcripts land in the same thread as typed messages, Bluetooth headsets work with echo cancellation, and a dropped connection shows reconnecting instead of nuking the chat. Perfect for the car, the walk between meetings, or anytime your thumbs are busy.

🔌 Managed Agents get a Public API for outside apps. Published managed agents can now run outside the HighLevel UI. The Managed Agents Public API lets you plug a live agent into a custom portal, mobile app, or internal backend while keeping multi-turn history and role-based permissions. Create a key under Settings, Developer, then call the discovery and conversation endpoints against the published version only - drafts and system prompts stay home. Handy if clients live in your own app but you still want HighLevel brains underneath.

🗓️ Calendar AI explains why a slot will not book. Tired of hunting through availability grids when a lead says nothing is open? You can now ask Calendar AI in plain English why 5 PM is blocked on a Sales Call calendar, or request a whole-day breakdown by teammate. It calls out business-hour limits, conflicts, and user-level blocks, then links into a Troubleshooting View when you need the deep knobs. Expect fewer support tickets from teams who swear the calendar is broken.

📱 Mobile can mint a reschedule link in two taps. When a client texts to move an appointment, staff no longer need to dig through confirmation emails. Open the appointment in the mobile app, hit the three-dot menu, and generate a reschedule link you can share over SMS, WhatsApp, or email. It works for active, cancelled, and no-show bookings on Meetings and Service calendars, so the customer picks a new slot without you reading times out loud from the sidewalk.

💬 Drop a chat widget inside the Client Portal. Members already live in the Client Portal for courses, invoices, and affiliate dashboards - now they can ping you from there too. A fresh walkthrough shows how to attach any chat widget to portal pages, pick which areas show it, and route those messages straight into Conversations. One less reason for clients to bounce out to email when something breaks mid-checkout or mid-course.

MONEY & FOLLOW-UP

📞 One pipeline, many callers - without double dialing. A team wants every scheduler in a single pipeline but worries hot leads get called twice before a claim refreshes on other screens. If you have already solved multi-rep claiming without collisions, the thread is looking for real setups: ownership rules, auto-assign, refresh habits, or whatever keeps two closers from hitting the same contact. Worth answering if your shop runs a shared dialer board.

🎓 Can HighLevel run a full course business stack? A founder funneling social traffic into a course wants one home for the website, blog, email sequences, automations, multi-product checkout, funnels, and course hosting. The short answer most agencies give is yes with the right plan and memberships setup, but the thread is asking for hard-won caveats before they commit. If you have migrated a creator off Teachable or Kajabi into HighLevel, your scars would help.

🌐 Free workshop: build and sell AI websites. HighLevel is hosting a free two-day session with Dominic Baptist on building, optimizing, and selling AI websites for clients who need lead-gen sites that actually get found. It runs Monday and Tuesday, Sep 28 to 29, from 12 to 2 PM EDT. Useful if website fulfillment is still the bottleneck that keeps you from taking more accounts.

⭐ Testimonials widget lets you cherry-pick the wins. Unlike the automated reviews feed, the testimonials widget is hand-curated. A new how-to shows how to drop it on a funnel or site page, edit stars, names, bios, logos, and switch between carousel layouts so only your best proof hits the page. If Google reviews are mixed but three clients rave in writing, this is the cleaner conversion block.

BUILD & AUTOMATE

🧰 AI Studio leaves Labs, with a safer SSR migration. AI Studio is now generally available, with sub-account permissions off by default unless someone already had Labs access. Agency owners get a Home banner to grant AI Studio to the right users, and there is a safer Migrate to SSR path that duplicates a React project into a TanStack draft so live domains stay untouched while agents rewrite pages and server functions. Check who on each sub-account should actually have the keys.

🖼️ Media Library adds image preview and global search. Two small Media Library upgrades landed today that save a surprising amount of hunting. You can preview images without downloading them and run a global search across the library instead of scrolling folder by folder. If your agency dumps hundreds of client creatives into one account, this is the difference between a 10-second find and a coffee-break scavenger hunt.

🔎 Global search walkthrough for the Media Library. Need the exact click path? HighLevel published a short global search walkthrough that shows how to jump straight to a file by name across the whole Media Library. Pair it with the new image preview and your builders stop asking Slack for the logo that was uploaded last Tuesday.

OPEN QUESTIONS

🧪 Are you deleting AI from your offer copy? One voice-product builder thinks leading with AI receptionist and AI agents is making the pitch sound worse, not better. The thread asks whether stripping AI from the marketing and selling outcomes instead is landing more demos. If your close rate dipped the moment every competitor added AI to the headline, swap notes.

🇬🇧 UK HighLevel SaaS agencies, where are you? A new UK consultancy just finished two weeks of setup - custom automations, n8n glue, no native templates - and wants to find other UK HighLevel SaaS owners before cold outreach starts. Local peer groups beat another US-centric Facebook ghost town. If you run a UK or EU shop, the intro thread is wide open.

🚗 Anyone wired InAuto vehicle alerts into HighLevel? A builder needs vehicle tracking alerts from InAuto Solutions to trigger HighLevel automations and is asking for API, webhook, or n8n patterns that already work. Fleet and field-service niches hit this often - if you have a middleware recipe, drop it before they reinvent the adapter.
